ADO (Database connection)

Database connectivity is very important, especially for business type of applications. In C++ Builder & Delphi it can be implemented in a various ways, but my favorite is using ADO (Microsoft ActiveX Database Objects) components.

Once we connect to a database there are some basic database operations you should know. For example; how to read records from a database, modify, write and delete them. Also, how to search, filter and sort records etc.  To help you get started with ADO please check the following video tutorial:

You can also check our C++ Builder Examples Collection and Delphi Examples Collection for additional ADO example projects.
